Many thanks for having decided to take part in the 29th AGC-Course in 2012 in Davos. Read the underneath carefully before registering.
Please complete the online registration below and submit it to our office by following strictly the guidelines. Confirmation of receipt of your registration will be provided immediatly online after your successful submission, however, please be aware that this is not a confirmation of participation.
In view of the limited number of working places we recommend not only an early booking but also your immediate payment of the corresponding course fee. Participation in the course will only be confirmed after receipt of the course fee. Failure of payment of the course fee will result in loss of priority of participation.
Will be set on the waiting list and only activated upon receipt of payment on a “first pay - first serve basis”. An early registration without payment does not entitle for any advantages or priority.
In case the total number of participants is reached, a certain number of additional registrations will be set to the waiting list. Registrations on the waiting list can only be considered as a replacement in case of a cancellation. However, no guarantee of participation can be given for those on the waiting list. Payments of the course fee of those on the waiting list will be fully reimbursed (no cancellation fee) if a participation is not passible.
The courses usually are fully booked out in January and only replacement from the waiting list in case of cancellations will be possible.
The indication of your expected practical experience in laparoscopic surgery at the beginning of the course is very important to us for your correct placing in the appropriate course. Please take your expectations of additional laparoscopic experiences from the time when registering until the beginning of the course into account as a change of the working place in Davos will not be possible.
Participants with no or very little laparoscopic experience will go in the Basic Course - Group A, those who are well experienced in laparoscopic surgery will go in the Advanced Course - Group C.
In case your laparoscopic experience at the beginning of the course does not meet the requirements for the intermediate skills course - Group B - the faculty will decide whether you will go in the Advanced Course or Basic Course depending on your laparoscopic experience and years of surgical education as indicated on your registration.
